ANIMATING

ANIMATING

By ERLNNG.

How I Started It

Having learned animation a few years back, I thought quite confident about skills. There was hardly anyone to animate my game for me then. I hired a couple of animators, but it seemed like a sheer waste of money as none of the games saw release. That is why I decided to learn animation myself-to save money and better my skills.

How I Start Learning it

The learning of animation came from YouTube tutorials and gradual implementation of personal animation references. First, which was to find the most suitable application for my animation 3DsMax, Maya or Cinema4D? Lastly, I went with Blender, as being one that was easy to learn and, yes, did terrific work.
At the time, I did have some experience working with 3DsMax for modeling, but I left it behind for a while and was not touching modeling or animating at all. Blender was the tool I ended up using when I made the decision to start over. My first animation? Yeah, it was suit awful, but that is part of the first time! So I was animating FPS framework stuff back then. Now, I do mostly character rigs, mostly Roblox character rigs.

Am I Happy Of What I Just Did

Definitely, I am satisfied with what I've achieved so far. I developed a lot of diverse skills, and for this reason, there's a huge advantage in that. Having multiple skills is important because if you face setbacks in one area, you have something to rely on.
